From Harvest to SynGas: How Biomass Becomes Clean Energy

Biomass-to-SynGas is not a single technology—it is a complete process, starting from agricultural residues or woody biomass and ending with a versatile clean fuel used for power, heat, and chemicals.

 

Key Process Steps & Equipment:
• Harvesting & Collection: Agricultural residues, wood waste, or energy crops
• Pre-treatment: Drying, size reduction, and dust control for safe handling
• Feeding & Conversion: Gasifiers convert biomass under controlled heat and limited oxygen
• Gas Cleaning & Conditioning: Removal of tar, particulates, and impurities
• Final Product: Clean Syngas (H₂ + CO) ready for power generation or downstream synthesis

Syngas enables flexible energy use, supports decarbonization of industry, and turns local biomass into reliable, dispatchable energy—especially valuable in regions with abundant agricultural waste.
