Indonesia has successfully completed lab tests for a 50% palm-oil–based biodiesel blend (B50), advancing from the current B40 standard.
The switch to B50 would require 20.1 million kilolitres of palm-oil–derived biofuel annually — up from 15.6 million for B40 — increasing the demand for biomass feedstocks.
For the biomass and clean energy sector, Indonesia’s move signals a major uptick in feedstock demand, policy support, and market scale.

อินโดนีเซียเดินหน้าสู่การใช้ไบโอดีเซล B50
อินโดนีเซียประสบความสำเร็จในการทดสอบในห้องปฏิบัติการสำหรับไบโอดีเซลสูตรผสมปาล์มน้ำมัน 50% (B50) ซึ่งเป็นการยกระดับจากมาตรฐานปัจจุบันที่ B40
การเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ B50 จะต้องใช้เชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพจากปาล์มน้ำมันถึง 20.1 ล้านกิโลลิตรต่อปี เพิ่มขึ้นจาก 15.6 ล้านกิโลลิตรในมาตรฐาน B40 ส่งผลให้ความต้องการวัตถุดิบชีวมวลเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ
