LONGi Green Energy has officially started construction of a massive biomass–green hydrogen–methanol project in Inner Mongolia, China, with a total investment of CNY 2.365 billion.

The project will utilize agricultural biomass gasification combined with renewable-powered hydrogen production, aiming to produce 400,000 tons of green methanol annually.

Two-phase development highlights:

• Phase 1: Biomass gasification + electrolysis hydrogen, producing 190,000 tons of green methanol per year.

• Phase 2: Deployment of a 500 MW electrolyzer to further expand green hydrogen capacity.

This landmark project not only drives the deep integration of biomass and hydrogen technologies but also signals that the green methanol industry is entering a new era of industrial scale and global collaboration.

• ระยะที่ 1: การแก๊สซิฟิเคชันจากชีวมวล + การผลิตไฮโดรเจนด้วยการแยกน้ำ ผลิตเมทานอลสีเขียว 190,000 ตันต่อปี
